What "specialized" actually means for interior drainage system at our company — not a marketing word, a set of specific practices.
Technicians are specifically trained in slab coring, drain tile installation, and sump integration, a distinct skill set from exterior excavation.
Ongoing seepage means every day without a fix is another day of potential damage.
No hourly billing — if scope changes once the slab is opened, we discuss it before proceeding.
We coordinate installation to minimize disruption to finished basement spaces wherever possible.
We don't run a one-size-fits-all playbook — every interior drainage system job starts from these core service components, adapted to what your property actually needs.
We core the slab along the interior perimeter, set perforated drain tile in washed gravel below the new floor level, and route collected water to a sump basin. New concrete is poured back over the channel, restoring a finished, level floor.
Faster to install than full drain tile, and works well for moderate, consistent seepage rather than significant hydrostatic pressure.
Every interior system needs a properly sized sump basin and pump at its endpoint — undersizing this undermines the whole system regardless of drain tile quality.
Interior systems address this joint directly, capturing water at the source rather than letting it spread across the floor.
Freeze-prone routing is addressed for colder months to prevent winter backup.
Here's the exact path from your call to a completed interior drainage install.
A few quick questions about your basement's finished status help us plan any protective containment needed.
Most Mount Vernon, VA assessments are scheduled within a day or two given the priority nature of active seepage.
You'll see the full installation plan explained, including where the new floor patch will meet the existing slab.
The completed system is tested by verifying flow to the sump basin before the floor patch is finished and the crew leaves.
